A Book of Love

All it takes is an ordinary person, Barbara L. Vanderstel, doing an extra-ordinary thing through the work of the Lord. He supplies the opportunity and the people and the much needed time. I asked the Lord to give me something I could not possibly do without Him. The day-care wasn't as busy, at the time, and I knew, from reading, how important it is to keep your mind active. Two years ago I took the risk of sending away for a writing course to the Institute of Children's literature. I was assigned a teacher author, editor Sheila Foard of my own. Sheila worked with me for two years encouraging me and editing my stories and putting a due date on the next assignment. Every assignment had a different take on what was needed to present a story ready for submission. Thanks Sheila. When I needed a boost of confidence or actual help with something while putting the stories together, God supplied the friends to help. Thanks girls! I received my writing diploma Dec 26th. 2011. I was too excited to quit and I wanted to put the stories in a book so I could reach our children, grand-children and of course the day-care kids that I've watched over and loved for the last 22 years and counting. Xulon Christian Publishing is the next exciting thing that has come into my life. Praise God, He supplies the visions and the dreams and I run with Him. As I get older things just get better. I am married to my sweetheart Bill of 42 years. We have 4 wonderful children. Now they have children of their own so we get to love and enjoy them too. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
